What is hosting?
Hosting is the service where you websites files are stored on an Internet server. Once you have a domain name registered you are going to need some where to store your website so the rest of the world can access it. Most basic web sites require less than 10MB of storage space and often do not need any special function such as SQL Databases or CGI access. These are usually only require if you wish your website to have such function as E-Commerce or a content management system.
You will also need hosting in order to send and receive E-mails from you domain name, the amount of space that is used by your E-mail will count as part of your storage space.
About my hosting services:
I am a reseller for www.uk2.net and have been for some time. The server used runs on 8 processors with over 8GB of RAM. They are more than enough to perform well no matter what site functions you intend to use and are maintained on a daily basis.
Included in all packages:
You will receive a C-panel interface with your hosting package, more information can be found here about the features.
How to apply:
I personally manage all hosting accounts and only host for my web design clients, so I can make sure that once a site has been designed by me I can ensure its smooth running. Once I have successfully designed a web site for you, I will set up a PayPal subscription that you can pay through your PayPal account or debit/credit card on a monthly basis. There is no contract and is on a Pay As You Go basis.
